Movie review brothers grimm

Movie review brothers grimm

If you like straightforward stories, "The Brothers Grimm" is worth seeing. The two 19th century brothers' search for missing girls is a bit predictable but never boring. Jacob and William Grimm travel to the girls' village on the outskirts of an enchanted forest to solve the kidnappings. "The Brothers Grimm" follows the fictional adventures of real-life storytellers Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm. The brothers' collection included tales that later became known as "Hansel and Gretal," "Cinderella" and "Snow White," though the brothers are the subject of this big-screen story. Beautiful town outcast Angelica played by Lena Headey, guides the brothers through the forest, whose ghoulish spirits have supposedly cursed the town. the movie is exciting and the movie-goers are tense as they watch from the edges of their seats.

Robert Englund's Birthday celebration:Features

Robert Englund's Birthday celebration:Features

You know him as William Gartley from The Mangler, The powerful businessman from Wishmaster, the antihero in Behind the Mask and Freddy Krueger from the Nightmare on Elm Street film series. In the month of June in honor of Robert Englund's 58th Birthday, I am having a special article telling all you readers a little info about him then I will share my favorite movies of his and the memories too. I can't wait to see his film Killer Pad and when the theatrical release date is announced, I will let you know. Robert Englund's birthday is June 6. His favorite sport is surfing. He married his wife Nancy in Mexico on October 1st and he has a dog named Lola. That's all I know about him so far.

My favorite movies of his are The Mangler, Wishmaster, Nightmare On Elm Street Pt 1, 3, and Freddy VS Jason. I've been a Nightmare on Elm Street fan since I was 13 and I didn't get hooked on it again till I was a Sophmore in High School. I started to write fanfiction, draw fan art, and I got two signed autographs from him just by writing a letter. When I saw Wishmaster for the first time this year, he did a great job in it. It was sad when he died. I loved him in the Mangler too and I can't wait to meet him in person one day.

I also saw him in behind the mask and 2001 maniacs. you can see him at Flashback Weekend 2007 in chicago on July 20-22. amber

Xanadu movie review

Xanadu movie review

Glowing auras, dance numbers, a nightclub combined of the forties and the eighties and two men charmed by a muse played by Olivia Newton John make up the charming musical Xanadu. When record album artist Sonny Malone falls in love with a muse named Kira he is sent to help a construction worker named Sam Maguire ( Gene Kelly) realize his dream to build his own nightclub. What they don't realize is that the girl that they are in love with is one of the nine daughters of Zeus from Greek mythology.

This was a pretty good musical and I recommend you rent and watch it for yourself.

Interview with Anders Eriksen

Interview with Anders Eriksen

Anders Eriksen is a good friend of mine and a few months ago I got to give him an interview. He is the founder and creator of the website www.Nightmaregloves.com . Anders makes his own custom Freddy gloves based on the Nightmare on Elm Street film series. One thing we have in common is that we're both Robert Englund fans and he actually met Robert in person at a Nightmaregloves.com convention when the cast of NOES 3: Dream Warriors came to give his booth a visit. Robert Englund tried on his gloves and he got many autographs from him. Here's the low-down of our interview.

AB: Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule for this interview.

Eriksen: Thanks.

AB: Anders, what inspired you to make the Nightmare gloves in the first place?

Eriksen: Well, after watching the very first NOES and seeing the very first Freddy gloveI decided I wanted to make my own. My father and so many others helped me. I even began to give some of the gloves as gifts to friends but it got so popular that I began to sell them on the website.

AB: What was your reaction when Robert Englund tried on the gloves?

Eriksen: I was very honored when he slipped on the gloves. He told me they were more comfortable and more flexible than the ones he wore on the set. I got an autograph from it. I think back and wonder "Did Robert Englund really try my gloves on?" We have become great friends since then. When we meet, we get on the subject matter about the gloves.

AB: Last question, out of all the NOES films which one is your favorite and why?

Eriksen: I love all of them. My current favorite is New Nightmare.

AB: Thank you for your time.

Eriksen: Yw.

You can read up about Eriksen's website, look through his workshop of his current gloves, read the current interviews and more at www.Nightmaregloves.com . You can also catch Anders Eriksen at Flashback Weekend in Chicago, IL this July. For more info check out www.Flashbackweekend.com .
